Bethel Mental Welleing is a Community Based Organisation (CBO) that was established in 2023 in western Kenya with an objective of achieving the sustainable goal by 2030 for both persons with mental disabilities or without any disabilities.It also focuses on every person in the community that needs conselling,support groups counselling and psychosocial support involving girl talk, boy talk and teen talk to have good mental wellbeing in the commnity.

About

History

Bethel Mental Wellbeing is a Community Based Organisation in Kakamega county, Kenya. It was founded in 2023 doing mental health education among members of Hossana Community Church then registered in 2024.

It is an organisation that focuses on mental wellbeing of everyone in the community and persons with mental disabilities. It does mental health awareness and sensitisation in work places, school, Baraza's and in any platform given opportunity.

Our core services include counselling, psychosocial support, support groups, door to door services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech development therapy, with the main obejective of achieving the sustainable goal by 2030 for both persons with mental disabilities or without any disabilities. It advocates for mental wellness as it deconstruct myths and beliefs of mentally challenged persons.
